1st – TWO IMPORTANT PREREQUISITES FOR THIS STUDY
(1st) – FAITH – it’s crucial that we have a Spirit-wrought conviction that;
a) What The Bible Says Is God’s Word – 2 Timothy 3;16; Romans 3:4
b) God Is Awesome – He is very great… and very good… absolutely sovereign… all-wise… all-holy and just in all His ways… and He is greater than our capacity to comprehend Him… … Psalm 139:1-6,14 … Psalm 145:3-9… Jeremiah 32:17-18 … Isaiah 45:4-9
(2nd) – HOLY SELF-DOUBT – one of the greatest stumbling blocks to understanding the truth, is our sinful tendency to think that we know more than we really know… – Proverbs 3:5-7; Isaiah 55:8-9;
1 Corinthians 8:2; Proverbs 12:15
Bryan Wheeler Pastor Bryan Wheeler was converted to Christ in 1973. For most of the 20 years that he served in the U.S. Air Force he was actively involved in church-based preaching and teaching ministries in the U.S. and overseas. Pastor Wheeler was ordained into the gospel ministry in 1987 and was called into full time ministry in 1989. He is the pastor at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Verona, VA. He and his wife Maureen were married in 1968 and the Lord has given them 6 children and 4 grandchildren.
