Like everyone else, Christians sometimes get discouraged… We get discouraged because of…
st – We have unrealistic Expectations – everybody wants to be happy—but we tend to think that happiness is not having any problems…
nd – Our Sins – all true Christians fight against sin and the temptations to sin…
rd – Out-of-control Emotions – some of us have the tendency to get overwhelmed with feelings of anxiety, fear, frustration, and disappointment…
th – Difficult Providences – sometimes we get discouraged and even frustrated when something “happens” that we don’t like…
th – Health Issues – physical problems affect more than just our bodies…
th – Overwhelming Circumstances – the feeling that we have too many things to do, and not enough time—and no one wants to help us…
th – People – people can sometimes be so annoying, demanding, ungrateful, unfaithful, selfish, inconsiderate, and frustrating…
