The Work of the Spirit in the Communication of Common Grace. This evening, we’re going to look at another frequently overlooked aspect of the Spirit’s ministry—that is the Work of the Spirit in the Communication of Common Grace… COMMON GRACE – those many different dimensions of the goodness of God (short of salvation) which are regularly enjoyed by hell-deserving sinners… It’s grace—because it’s underserved… and it’s common—because in different degrees it’s communicated to everyone… (Ps 145:9) “The LORD is good to all, And His tender mercies are over all His works.” (Mt 5:45) “…your Father in heaven… makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.”
