The God of Scripture is very gracious and full of compassion, ‘slow to anger and of great kindness.’ God is longsuffering… He has put up with some of us for years and years, over-looking our sins and constant failures, just waiting to be gracious. God is not like some of us. Some people have a hard time forgetting the sins and mistakes of others. You mess up one time around some people, and you’ve had it! That’s not the way our God is. Our great and gracious God is a God of second chances and missed opportunities!
