If we were to think of SALVATION as a CAKE… the last phrase in (v.12) would be the ‘icing on the cake.’ (v.12c) “…He made INTERCESSION for the transgressors.” – All that Christ ever did… and suffered when He was in this world, wouldn’t have saved anyone—were it not for the fact that Jesus made (and still makes) intercession for transgressors. 1st – The FACTS of Our Savior’s Intercession 2nd – The ONGOING NATURE of His Intercession 3rd – How This Truth Should AFFECT US?
