This morning, I want to answer, what I call – ‘The Christmas Question—Why did Jesus Christ come to this world?’ The passage I’m going to read, gives us a very clear, definitive answer. Our Confession of Faith describes the incarnation of Jesus Christ as, ‘…two whole, perfect, and distinct natures, the Divine and the human inseparably joined together in one Person… without the mixing, as it were, of one nature with the other… Thus the Son of God is now (and forevermore) both true God and true Man, yet one Christ…’
