The Fruit of the Spirit is Faithfulness #1

By: Bryan Wheeler Scripture: 1 Corinthians 15:58; Galatians 5:22 Series: The Holy Spirit
The fruit of the Spirit is faithfulness – to be FAITHFUL is to be loyal in love and life… to be reliable, trustworthy, and true in every way… Of course, the epitome of FAITHFULNESS is God Himself – (Deut 7:9) “…the LORD your God, He is God, the FAITHFUL GOD who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations…” (Ps 36:5) “Your mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; Your FAITHFULNESS reaches to the clouds.” In other words, God’s faithfulness is way, way above all human ideas and expressions of faithfulness… Only God is supremely true and trustworthy—He never fails, forgets, or changes His mind… (Lam 3:22-23) “It is of the LORD’S mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is YOUR FAITHFULNESS.”
