This morning, we’re going to look at—another one of the fingerprints of the Holy Spirit in a believer’s life—and that is JOY… I want to begin by showing you that there is a relationship between love and JOY—both of which are elements of the character of Christ, and are produced by the Holy Spirit in our lives – John 15:8-11.
From this passage, we see that JOY is a matter of keeping ourselves in the conscious reality of the love of Christ… HOW? (v.10) – by keeping our Savior’s commandments—and one very important commandment is to love one another (v.12)…
Bryan Wheeler Pastor Bryan Wheeler was converted to Christ in 1973. For most of the 20 years that he served in the U.S. Air Force he was actively involved in church-based preaching and teaching ministries in the U.S. and overseas. Pastor Wheeler was ordained into the gospel ministry in 1987 and was called into full time ministry in 1989. He is the pastor at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Verona, VA. He and his wife Maureen were married in 1968 and the Lord has given them 6 children and 4 grandchildren.
