The God We Worship

God doesn’t need our worship… our songs… our prayers… our fellowship… our money… or our service… The reality is, we need Him! … Worship is really, the glad-hearted recognition—that all that I am, and all that I have, already belongs to God—you and I are only stewards of God’s gifts and goodness to us… WORSHIP is the privilege of giving back to God what He has first given to us… and doing it with a joyful heart! ‘True worship is profound because we never exhaust all that there is to know, do, or feel in God’s presence. Certainly the reality of God’s transcendence, mercy, and presence will always humble us, move us, baffle us, and excite us. Through faith in Christ we enter heaven, the home of God, and God enters us (by His Spirit), making us His temple.’ – Allen Vander Pol
