The Gospel of Grace

By: Bryan Wheeler Scripture: Ephesians 2:8-9 Series: Study in Ephesians
Text: Ephesians 2:8-9 GRACE – undeserved favor – (Gen 6:7-8) “So the LORD said, “I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them. But Noah found GRACE in the eyes of the LORD.” Ø Grace—is God Choosing to save hateful, helpless, rebellious, sinners Ø GRACE is God giving hell-deserving sinners far better than they deserve… Ø Grace—is God Forgiving us – and promising that, ‘our sins and lawless deeds He will remember no more.’ Ø Grace—is God Liberating us—from our moral madness and our slavery to sin. Ø Grace—is God Accepting us as perfect—in Jesus Christ. Ø Grace—is God lavishing His infinite goodness and kindness upon us Ø Grace—is God Giving us His Spirit – and making us spiritually alive…
