Verse 2 … 5x in the apostle Paul makes reference to the JUDGMENT OF GOD… In these 17 verses Paul tells us at least four things about God’s judgment…
1st – The judgment of God is according to TRUTH (v.2) – God’s judgment is based on the facts and realities of what we did in this life. And since God’s judgment is according to truth—it’s perfect and fair (v.11).
2nd – God’s judgment is INESCAPABLE (v.3) – Hebrews 9:27… Romans 14:10
3rd – God’s judgment will be according to OUR WORKS (v.6-10) – 2 Corinthians 5:9-10
4th – There is a DAY OF JUDGMENT – (v.5) “the day of wrath” … (v.16)… Revelation 20:11-15
Bryan Wheeler Pastor Bryan Wheeler was converted to Christ in 1973. For most of the 20 years that he served in the U.S. Air Force he was actively involved in church-based preaching and teaching ministries in the U.S. and overseas.
