The Greek word – “led” – ἄγω ago} – (Lit.) means to bear, bring, carry or lead. To be “led by the Spirit” – means that the Holy Spirit exercises a real, yet very powerful and very gracious influence upon the life of every true child of God in order to BRING us to God’s will—and ultimately to heaven… All this is consistent with the New Covenant promise found in – Ezekiel 36:27 … “I will put My Spirit within you and CAUSE you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them.”
