Grace is a Mystery – according to (v.9), there are four things that are very obvious about this mystery:
(1) It is God’s mystery…
(2) It is a mystery that has to do with God’s will…
(3) It is a mystery that God has made known…
(4) It is a mystery that gives God great pleasure to reveal – revelation is a very sweet thing to God.
Usually, a mystery is something that’s secret… something that’s hidden (1 Cor 2:1-8). Here Paul is writing about the mystery of grace… According to this text, the mystery of grace is not some closely guarded secret… it’s something that’s revealed…
Bryan Wheeler Pastor Bryan Wheeler was converted to Christ in 1973. For most of the 20 years that he served in the U.S. Air Force he was actively involved in church-based preaching and teaching ministries in the U.S. and overseas.
