The Work of the Spirit in the Life and Ministry of Jesus. As the Son of God – Jesus Christ was and will always be—one with God the Father and the Spirit… As God, Jesus Christ is almighty, all-knowing, never changing, always present, eternal, and incomprehensible—the God of glory… (Heb 1:6) “Let all the angels of God worship Him.” Because of this, there is a tendency for some of us to question, or at least overlook the need for the work of the Spirit in the life of the Lord Jesus… Our tendency is to reason—that since Christ is God… He really didn’t need the help of the Spirit when He was here on earth.
