The terrorist attack ten years ago on September 11th 2001 – has changed our nation like no other event in our lifetime… When we saw the pictures of those commercial airliners crashing into the Twin Towers in NY City—it seemed like we were watching some bad Hollywood movie… But it was real—2,977 people died on that day (not counting the 19 terrorists who hijacked those planes) … and lots of people wondered, Where was God…? Why didn’t He do something?
Where was God on 9/11? – either;
1st – There is no god – as growing numbers of people now believe…
2nd – There is a God, but He couldn’t (or wouldn’t) do anything to stop what happened…
3rd – There is a God, and He was doing what He always does—governing all His creatures and all their actions—to accomplish His holy will…
Bryan Wheeler Pastor Bryan Wheeler was converted to Christ in 1973. For most of the 20 years that he served in the U.S. Air Force he was actively involved in church-based preaching and teaching ministries in the U.S. and overseas. Pastor Wheeler was ordained into the gospel ministry in 1987 and was called into full time ministry in 1989. He is the pastor at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Verona, VA. He and his wife Maureen were married in 1968 and the Lord has given them 6 children and 4 grandchildren.
