WHAT IS THE WORSHIP SERVICE LIKE?
The Word of God guides our worship to God. During our service, we have a call to worship, congregational singing, Scripture reading, a time of prayer, giving of offerings, and the preaching of God’s Word. The preaching is generally expositional, meaning that it seeks to explain the main point of a biblical passage. Following the service, we fellowship together.
WHAT IS YOUR SUNDAY SCHOOL LIKE?
We have Sunday School classes for children (ages 3 – 10) and an adult Bible class. Our adult Bible class goes through series on different topics, doctrine, books of the Bible, or discussions.
HOW SHOULD I DRESS?
Our congregation is fairly diverse and most forms of dress are represented. We have some who come in jeans and a polo and others who wear suit and tie.
WHAT IS THE MUSIC LIKE?
Our singing is congregational. We sing a mixture of traditional hymns, new hymns, and psalms. Our singing is joyful and we hope you will be uplifted and encouraged to join in our heartfelt worship.
DO YOU HAVE A NURSERY?
Yes, we provide nursery for babies and young toddlers. You may also keep children of any age with you in the worship services. However, we encourage you to be sensitive to the distraction that can be caused by a crying child during worship and to act accordingly by either taking the child out until the crying is stopped or by utilizing the nursery care provided.
WHAT IS YOUR PRAYER MEETING LIKE?
Our prayer meetings start after our Sunday evening worship service. We share thanksgivings and prayer requests and then we pray together. Prayer meeting ends around 6:30.
